Milestones

Industrial Engineering officially opened in 2011, offering a lab-first curriculum model and direct access to internships through the Bakrie Group’s extensive industry network.
Students were introduced to enterprise technologies and Industry 4.0 readiness through a collaboration with Oracle Academy.
The program initiated discussions with partners in Taiwan to explore cooperation opportunities and potential student mobility pathways.
Industrial Engineering earned “Baik Sekali” accreditation from LAM-TEKNIK (Decision No. 0226/SK/LAM-Teknik/AS/XII/2022), valid from 21 December 2022 to 20 December 2027.
The 41st floor of Bakrie Tower was soft-launched with classrooms, advising rooms, a student lounge, and a mini studio, enhancing teaching and project-based work.
Students participated in hands-on training on additive manufacturing using FlashForge 3D printers, strengthening applied skills in the Industrial Engineering Laboratory.
The Industrial Engineering Laboratory, along with other FTIK labs, achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for international quality management standards.
The program secured a major MBKM “PKKM 2024” grant worth approximately IDR 461 million. The funding supports curriculum delivery, laboratory upgrades, and industry-linked projects, with the kickoff held at the Diplomatic Room, Bakrie Tower.
